Adventure Tours in the
Canadian Rockies

Our award winning tours at the Jasper Tour Company are unlike any others. Each tour group is small by design and lead by a knowledgeable and experienced guide.

Over the years we've found that a smaller group size gives you a more personal experience. It allows us to travel at a more casual pace and enjoy the spectacular scenery. That is the best approach to any adventure in the Canadian Rockies!

Maligne Valley Adventure

A trip to Jasper National Park is incomplete without a journey up the Maligne Valley! Long considered one of the Canadian Rockies crown jewels, this valley is a World Class Treasure! Come with us on a interpreted adventure up this pristine valley and marvel at some of Nature's finest craftsmanship!

The journey begins as you climb out of the Athabasca Valley and up into the sub valley of the Maligne. Along the way, you will experience the power of water as it carves its way deep into the earth at Maligne Canyon, wonder at the mysterious disappearance of the water at Medicine Lake and finally take in the sheer beauty of the sacred place the Stoney Nakoda People refer to as 'Chaba Imne' but what the settlers came to call 'Maligne' Lake.

Once at Maligne Lake you can choose to enjoy a little time at the Chalet, grab a snack and some coffee or you can decide to stretch your legs with our guide along the shoreline of the largest natural glacially fed lake in the Canadian Rockies.

Wildlife Adventure

The Athabasca Valley and her tributaries are home to the greatest Mega-fauna sightings in the entire Rockies.

Getting out with one of our excellent guides is not only the best opportunity to encounter the likes of Bear, Elk, Coyote, Sheep, Wolves and Moose but it's also a great opportunity to have some fun and learn a little bit about these creatures and the Mountain eco-system that supports them.

While this is a driving based tour. We will do our best to get our feet on the ground when possible. Be prepared for the odd hike, occasionally with a little elevation. This will help us access better viewpoints and better photo opportunities where and when it is safe to do so. You are permitted to exit the vehicle at designated stops to take photographs and access view points.

Yet another bucket list item! Wear good shoes, bring water and sunglasses and whatever you do, don’t forget your camera!

Winter in Jasper

Wildlife in Winter Tour

Winter is a quieter time in the mountains. Many of the birds have flown and some of the animals have bedded down to conserve energy until the long sleepy silence of winter is broken by the first alarm of spring, the familiar honk of the Canada Geese returning. If you are coming to Jasper National Park in the winter and are looking for an experience call us and ask about availability on our Wildlife in Winter tour.
